Winter Wonderland

This is my first Christmas in 3 years in London. Usually I loathe this time of year as it's just cold and depressing to wake up and arrive home in the dark going to and from work. A meet up with the girls was enough to perk me up...along with sauerkraut and lots of dancing.
WW is a playground for all ages and has everything European....from Nordic bars to crepe stalls, reminiscent of Paris to sauerkraut stands you'd find in Germany. House music pumping from the sound systems were the highlight.

Tower of London

On a recent trip into London...I visited the Tower of London. Despite being a Londoner all my life..there's just some places I've just never bothered going to, simply because feel it's always going to be there if I ever do bother. As I embark on my teaching journey ( one of the reasons I decided to come back to England), a school trip for aa Spanish exchange came about. I was quite excited to see torture chambers and the Crown of Jewels as well as the ravens. To say the least the twenty Spanish teenagers I accompanied for the trip weren't that excited! Crown Jewels was the biggest highlight as was the changing of the guards. How they keep their face straight...I just don't know.
